Rrushkull Nature Park
Parku natyror Rrushkull
Rrushkull reserve near Sukth covers some 650 hectares of forest, wetland and the mouth of the Erzen river. Recognised as an Important Bird Area, it attracts birdwatchers as well as people looking for quiet walks, nature photography or fishing.

- North of Durrës near Lalzi Bay, by car or taxi: leave the Tirana highway at the exit signed Gjiri i Lalzit near Maminas, follow the SH55 and turn off for Rrushkull village; the reserve extends from there to the sea.

Durrës Beach
Durrës Beach stretches for about 10.5 km of golden sand along the city’s seafront, with shallow, gently shelving water that suits children. A long promenade lined with cafés and fish restaurants runs behind it, and in summer there are boat trips, jet skis, parasailing and beach volleyball.
Currila
Currila Beach
A few minutes from central Durrës, Currila Beach mixes golden sand with small pebbles, and its often turquoise water deepens gradually. A seafront promenade leads straight down to the water, with views of the sunset, and locals sometimes call this traditional bathing spot “the Capri of Durrës”.
Kepi i Rodonit
Cape Rodon
Cape Rodon (Kepi i Rodonit) is a rocky headland at the northern end of the Bay of Durrës, between the bays of Rodon and Lalzi. Skanderbeg built a castle here around 1450, and the sea has since claimed some of its walls; the Church of St Anthony stands nearby, and white-sand beaches line the cape.

Fllakë Beach
About 11 km from Durrës, Fllakë beach is a quiet, little-developed stretch of coast with a wide sandy shore and clear water. It suits a day away from the city’s noise, with walks along the water and sunsets that draw photographers.
Golem
Golem Beach
Golem beach lies about 10 km south of Durrës, with fine sand and shallow water that suit families. The area has resorts, bars and restaurants, and a typical day here means swimming, beach games and walks at the water’s edge.
Gjiri i Lalëzit
Lalzi Bay
North of Durrës, Gjiri i Lalëzit (Lalzi Bay) has a long fine-sand shore, gradually deepening water and a backdrop of wooded hills. Bars and restaurants near the beach serve fresh fish, and the surrounding countryside is good for walks and picnics.
