Agroturizëm Ullishtja

Kodra e Kuajve (Horse Hill) is an agritourism farm on top of Shkallnur hill, facing the Durrës coast. Its stable of some 15 horses offers rides with instructors, and the restaurant cooks traditional Albanian dishes with local produce.

Near Sukth, Agroturizëm Fama cooks traditional dishes with the seasonal vegetables, dairy and meat it produces itself. Surrounded by greenery, it suits families with children and groups, offering nature walks, farm animals and a quiet veranda.

Agroturizëm Huqi sits among the Huqi family’s fields near Radë, north-east of Durrës, and its menu draws on the farm: seasonal vegetables, meat, local olive oil and artisan wine. Guests can also walk in the countryside and see the farm animals.

Run by the Bujari family on a hillside a few minutes from central Durrës, Pema e Jetës (Tree of Life) cooks traditional Albanian recipes with seasonal produce from its own farm. Guests can stroll through the gardens or rest in the shade of the trees.

Built in the early 2nd century AD under Emperor Trajan, Durrës Amphitheatre held some 15,000–20,000 spectators and is considered the largest Roman amphitheatre in the Balkans. Archaeologist Vangjel Toçi found it by chance in 1966; houses still cover part of it, and it is on Albania’s UNESCO Tentative List.

Built by the Republic of Venice in the 15th century on the remains of a Byzantine tower, the round Venetian Tower (Torra Veneciane) guarded the port of Durrës. Restored with EU funds after the 2019 earthquake, it reopened in 2023 as a heritage centre with VR headsets and digital periscopes.
